Young bluetit

Very young bluetit following the examples of its
Nuthatch parents and getting to grips with the bird feeder.

     

The nuthatchers are our most frequent
visitors to the bird table, and display a great
skill with opening nuts and catching insects.

Young Robin

This young robin will eventually
Red Squirrel have the distinct plumage of an adult robin.

     

The red squirrels have worked out the feeder
and are now very entertaining.

Woodpecker

Although one of the larger birds that visit
Swallow Tail the bird table, woodpeckers are extremly shy.

     

This stunning swallow tailed butterfly
frequents the garden flowers for most
of the summer.
